the beginnings of a freak out

it's less than 6 months until oscar time and the last movie i saw in a theater was 'cannibal holocaust' which will never get an award & doesn't deserve one.

who wants to see any/all of the following after we get through what i'm dubbing to be the worst thanksgiving in all of thanksgivings:

capote
a history of violence
north country
walk the line (and believe you me, i do NOT want to see this. i LOVE leaf phoenix guys, but i'm all like "..." when it comes to your boy in black)
broken flowers
shopgirl

and i'm sure there's so many more, but this is what comes off the top of my head. and maybe 'broken flowers' isn't even out any longer, I DON'T KNOW, I'M OUT OF THE LOOP.

last weekend

saturday was my friend from the tappy aaron's birthday surprise party - he was thrilled
his fiance taryn, put it all together & closed out the night with her amazing rendition of "that's amore"
even susan couldn't resist the karaoke-ing bug - i believe this was a duet of "glory of love"
aaron & mike - i wish mike wouldn't have used that knife in the kitchen, thus ending his career at the tappy..........
kiersten met up with me later, we ended the night late night at the tap room.

if fuckin blogger could make up its mind and let me post more pics, this would be totally insane and filled with pictures.
