heaven's door

i ain't got a goddamn thing to say, per se (ching!), but i am tired, hungover, dehydrated, and not feeling work so i figure, what the fuck, let's throw some pics up from my birthday. you guys deserve it. and by "you guys," i mean, "you."

so on my big day (and seriously, i am a relic at this point) i started shit off all proper like and watched A Chorus Line on VHS (yes. you didn't read that incorrectly; it really was a grand start to a day of me being annoyed at having to celebrate the new age bracket and hell, it's one of my faves), had glorious mexican lunch with cindy at mi ranchito, got my 'brows did, lazed about, "got ready" and kiersten & cole joined me and my parents for dinner at the tap room (long story about why we ended up there; not typing it out) where my mom may or may not have had one too many beers (she said to cole, "can you spell aphrodisiac?" at one point; this was her first time meeting him by the way), back to the house to "regroup," brandon & susan met us up and we headed to the always classy Time Out Bar & Grill for some karaoke. michelle met us there just in time to get creepily hit on by some old dude. kiersten and i really shook things up - seriously, the songs people were singing up to this point were kinda slow & country-ish and weird - with our always awesome, never boring rendition of Rio by duran duran then her and susan serenaded me with Never Tear Us Apart by INXS and we were out the door. went to CBGBs for some more beers and some shuffleboard (dude. i was destroying terry, it was awesome) and then back to the house for some afterhours nonsense.

pictures.

here's dinner:

so there you have it and there you are. i really don't know what else. i should work.
