right now. as i type. the hole where my tooth was. is totally bleeding.

highlights:

- getting phone calls all day long from my family and friends saying "happy birthday"
- the message from my sister with the ENTIRE zoom from the moon birthday song - best!
- dinner with my parents and my emotional boyfriend (formerly known as my fake pretend boyfriend) at the ever so quaint AND delightful guido's on the hill
- drinks at the log cabin afterwards
- not receiving ONE stupid e-card wishing me warm wishes......those are worst

and just like that, it was over. but that's okay, that's alright, stand up sit down, fight! fight! fight!

that's so not the cheer. today's maria's birthday (hello virgo explosion) and dinner will be had at olympia which i ain't mad at. and then saturday is rootz' day o' birth. it's all coming together.

i am so not mad at a 3 day weekend, fyi. and on top of just the joy of THAT, there's the japanese festival IN MY 'HOOD AND it's the motherfucking greek festival (when i say, "spana" you say, "kopita"). so. much. to. do.

even though i'm secretly convinced that i have TMJ, i'm so not mad at dr. jan rogers at wydown dental group. that extraction that i had? not so bad. i mean, the 'caine (no, not short for cocaine - we all have wishes) was in full effizect until around 10 pm and ol' boy gave me some vicodins which i'm still not through with AND i didn't feel a thing during that LESS THAN A MINUTE that it took to pull that wacko jacko out. but yea, back to the lockjaw, when i open my mouth up all the way (hubba hubba), there's a definite feeling of locking and unlocking. maybe i should wipe my butt better.

how's the D.C. you may be asking? well, besides being so big that a 3 T would fit AND it's a bit of a, ahem, battery EATER, it's cool. i went and got a memory card over the weekend so there's lots to do and if i had the software or knew where to find one for free to download, i'd post some pictures. of course, all the pics are either too close up close-ups of me or maggie playing her video game or my cat so the excitement factor is certainly non-buzzworthy. we'll see. i figure in due time this thing is just going to pay for itself.
