all i want is you

apparently my other blog is less entertaining than this one even though i update it hella more and find this one to be the most boring and lame. regardless, terry, this one's for you.

what's up? where did we last meet? i think there were pictures from my birthday so i have lots of stuff to recap between then and now. let's start with last night. did you watch Project Runway? first off, heidi klum has an amazing trainer/awesome metabolism since that bitch just pooped out a kid in november last year. makes me feel really good. but she's lucky i like her - it's true, she's hilariously charming in interviews & isn't fucked. but back to the show. did you watch? do you have a favorite yet? are you glad to see tim gunn NOT next to veronica webb (i know i am). also, hey michael kors! so far i have no real favorites, but am already predicting that probably 2 out of 3 episodes ricky will cry. and while i get that you have to have some comedy relief/wacky character, i think they could have done a little better than elisa. don't get me wrong, her rubbing her fabric for the 1st challenge in the grass was funny and awkward, but i've seen crazier. plus, her dress wasn't great and not put together well. but i agree with the judges and see why ol' simone had to get the boot. i could almost sew better and guys, i am not a seamstress. oh television. bravo bravo! (dork)

so the past 3 or 4 (5 maybe?) tuesdays have been spent at Felix's in dogtown playing trivia courtesy of "trivia monkey" aka heather and joe. if you're reading this and you haven't been, i strongly urge you to go! it's every tuesday 9-11ish pm. form your team, take on The Crips who can be beat, but not consistently. seriously. go. don't cry to me about how you have to wake up early the next day either because every person on our team has to as well. make it work.

in other news, i'm kind of freaking out about time and how it's gone by so quickly. not to sound like one of Those Assholes but seriously, how is it that next week is thanksgiving already? and then i have to go into total panic mode because of december 25th and the pressure. let's all slow down and take a few okay? i need time to rejuv' and play catch up. i'm not ready for all of that. at least i don't feel obligated to get any of my friends that aren't related to me by blood presents. that shit is for suckas. also, if you want to get me something this year, why don't we make it a disaronno night?

DOES ANYONE KNOW OF A RECYCLING PLACE IN THE CITY PROPER THAT TAKES CANS, BOTTLES, PLASTIC, CARDBOARD, PAPER ETC. AND IN RETURN GIVES YOU MONEY? do those types of places exist any longer? i really want to know. thanks in advance.

i hate having to be conscious of stuff like the environment.

is this a good enough of a start?

oh, i got this:

heaven's door

i ain't got a goddamn thing to say, per se (ching!), but i am tired, hungover, dehydrated, and not feeling work so i figure, what the fuck, let's throw some pics up from my birthday. you guys deserve it. and by "you guys," i mean, "you."

so on my big day (and seriously, i am a relic at this point) i started shit off all proper like and watched A Chorus Line on VHS (yes. you didn't read that incorrectly; it really was a grand start to a day of me being annoyed at having to celebrate the new age bracket and hell, it's one of my faves), had glorious mexican lunch with cindy at mi ranchito, got my 'brows did, lazed about, "got ready" and kiersten & cole joined me and my parents for dinner at the tap room (long story about why we ended up there; not typing it out) where my mom may or may not have had one too many beers (she said to cole, "can you spell aphrodisiac?" at one point; this was her first time meeting him by the way), back to the house to "regroup," brandon & susan met us up and we headed to the always classy Time Out Bar & Grill for some karaoke. michelle met us there just in time to get creepily hit on by some old dude. kiersten and i really shook things up - seriously, the songs people were singing up to this point were kinda slow & country-ish and weird - with our always awesome, never boring rendition of Rio by duran duran then her and susan serenaded me with Never Tear Us Apart by INXS and we were out the door. went to CBGBs for some more beers and some shuffleboard (dude. i was destroying terry, it was awesome) and then back to the house for some afterhours nonsense.

pictures.

here's dinner:

brandon and i during a very romantical moment!

we're pretty cute

so are we (my eyes were barely open all night)

i like to call this one Eyes Wide Shut

nerd herd

heterosexuals

morning after shot, modeling kiersten's glasses

so there you have it and there you are. i really don't know what else. i should work.

jug motivation?

since heather has a fancy blog now and she (finally) updated with some new entries, i felt it was my duty as an American to update mine. plus, my eyes are crossing (good time to keep typing) from euros, pounds and francs. people, stop traveling. reimburse these.

because i can, and because only two - MAYBE three (i don't know if you don't leave a comment assholes) - of you folks read this shit, here's a picture of my goddaughter suzy lee in all her glory:

she's pretty cute for a 2 year old methinks. we have the same hair in a way. anyhoo. so yes, i recently was in chicago and it was all you might have imagined it'd be. not in the sense that i actually did any kind of strolling the "magnificent" mile or anything like that, but it's always nice to get away and did you know that i hadn't left the state of missouri since last JULY. that's almost unheard of and completely unacceptable. that's why i confirmed my megabus ticket to chicago the other day for the annual independence day celebration in bev shores, indiana. now that july is right around the corner (hooray!), i can finally begin to use up my vacation days faster than you can say "I know my first name is Steven." should be good times. hear me, son?

other things that i'm looking forward to include:
dinner etc. with heather who i haven't seen since march (completely unacceptable)
chris cuddihee's upcoming visit the week prior to me going to chicago
boxing on saturday (cotto vs. judah)
teena marie in motherfucking concert at the pageant
pay day this friday
marie visiting the 314 at some point in july
(boy guys, july is gonna be hustle & flow time - or something)
heading to KC in JUNE - shock - to see miles' baseball game
rear speakers for sterling
computer room completion
game room completion

i think that's enough, i'm starting to lose my shit over here at work. what if that were true? then i'd be lying. to myself. typical.

um, what else. i really don't know. my brain is fried. i'm reading this snoozefest of a book by the dude who wrote The Player called Under Radar. it started out "okay" and is ending "meh."

i will not give up on books. they're pretty much all i have to hold on to at this point.

hung(over) like the wolf

you read it hear first, i am not only hungover, but i'm also updating. this should be really good. why am i hungover? cause i'm stupid and went out on a "school night" like a dumb ass. started off at novak's w/ dewey & aaron for some eating in the form of fried, then tin can where i really made an ass out of myself for a free PBR/shot combo (thanks, jeff the bartender) and finished off the night at the royale to watch burt & terry "spin" some shit. let's just say that i feel really good about myself after fried dinner, plenty of beers, various shots and white castles for "dessert." shite.

what else has been going on? not a whole fucking lot, if memory serves me right. and if anything has been going on, it's been "..."

wanna talk about the de la hoya/mayweather snoozefest of a fight? sure, fine. while no one really thought that oscar would win, it was still a meh fight. plus, i wasn't even hyped for this one cause of my total disinterest in both fighters. it'd have been a lot more hot if it had ended in a simultaneous KO. just typing over here. even the undercards were on the boring side and i was kind of excited - not really - about the 2nd one. oh well, it is what it is. i did get to spend some "special time" with maggie, dan and the dogs plus davis, so that's important to note. too bad my night turned on me and everything good, went kind of bad. thank god for toast.

back to boxing though, who else is as fucking excited about some of the upcoming fights, mainly the taylor vs. spinks (may 19th, HBO) and miguel cotto vs. zab judah (june 9th HBO, ppv style). my "money" (i don't gamble) is on taylor & cotto. luckily, it's more than their looks that i'm basing my winner picks from. but the fact that they are both precious little doll babies and i want to lay down with them in the biblical sense doesn't hurt either. so there are some saturday evening events that are exciting for me to think about.

speaking of, terry sent me this link this morning:
http://msn.foxsports.com/boxing/story/6786314?MSNHPHMA

sad.

so the tigers that i wanted are still not available - so it seems - anywhere online. i'm looking for the kelly green/white ultimate 81s in a men's 7.5 (or ladies 9). thanks in advance for looking, i'll be sure to pick up the tab.

which brings me to, Things I Would Like to Have:
- 2 new pairs of levis - straight leg
- more spring/summer tops that aren't necessarily FOR work, but could work AT work
- bras out the ass (not literally of course, that'd defeat their purpose)
- new glasses (i've been half-assedly looking online and it seems that most pairs that are "current" and "hip" are so much like kiersten and cole's that i don't want us to turn into Those Roommates. your mission: find me a pizair.)
- new sheets/bed "throw"
- those onitsuka tigers that haunt me
- professional massage (seriously, i'm sufferin' succotash)
- that damn tax refund to find it's way to me asap

so i went at lunch to "take a nap" but senseless phone calls and The General Public are forever keeping me down. yawning i am.

good lord

it's not that i've forgotten about you, dear blogger, it's just that i seem to have put my words in other places on the internet.

but i will try to remember you and treat you like the firstborn that you are...

let us carry on. last time we were all "together" (the 3 of us i presume), i had my wisdom teeth extracted and celebrated by sharing some grotesque pictures of me and my bloody mouth with the web. things have changed, swelling (at least in my cheeks you guys) has gone down 100% and i'm "back in working order." but i'm still paying ye olde oral surgeon (heeeey dr. monterubio!) and my time (and seemingly addiction) with the dentist's office is yet to be over. the hygienist and i should really start a For Real relationship. but the kind where i'm the sugar mama, cause last time i checked, every time i go there, i walk out all sad face clown cause i've had to throw them some money.

and oh yea, we moved! that's right. but it's nice and it's huge and even though we're on the side of grand ave. that some (white) people think is DANGER CENTRAL!, we're there. and seriously, it's only considered dangerous cause there are like 35 more black people on the side. the more the merrier you guys. i've been ready for some lovin' in the form of thug passion so this ups the ante. so far, all i've gotten is a cracked out "hey girl!" from 2 dudes who were at some corner. needless to say, i didn't pull over. i am stupid i know. but yes, the house. yes! a house! it's 2.5 stories, full of character (and i'm not saying that to cover up it's ghetto-ness cause it really has a lot of charm to offer, and not in the old world sense) and i'm pleased. while we're not completely unpacked and there is still some serious "decorating" to take care of, things are moving along nicely. pics will come soon. maybe.

it's nice to not have a neighbor that we don't know who is a pain in the... sorry tina. but i do love your coat.
have you seen anything more desirable in the last few months? not me sillies, the coat.

to jump start the new year

yea, yea, i know, it's february....

instead of words, i offer you some pics:

i got my wisdom teeth removed on monday. here's a pic of day one. who wants a bj?

if you look not even all that closely, you'll see the stain on my shirt. that's just blood folks, i couldn't feel my leakage. it was tres sexy.

this is my favorite. day 2. ladies & gentleman: the elephant (wo)man

day 3. check out my left temple. having an impacted wisdom tooth is apparently no joke.

by day 4, i was all smiles and less swoll'.

there is no pic of day 5 cause i'm scared to take any more pics of me that look like almost me.

you hear?

but i'm like 90% jennifer so that's pretty okay. who knew that i would miss me?

big ups are in order to kiersten & aaron for sharing nursing duties. i'm pretty sure i was a fantastic patient so it was easy money. some mentionable thanks to brandon and cindy for coming over to chillax with me in between my percoset haze.

the rest of you can fuck off and die. oh, i jest.
