barely legal

things that are making me happy today:

1. a charlie brown christmas cd
2. crossing off my to-do list at work
3. money in my savings from tappy and all along i thought i wasn't going to get paid until AFTER 12/25
4. pics/cards that i've gotten in the mail from friends (i miss suzy)
5. possibly going to black thorn tonight for some eats

that's really about it so far. i mean, it's barely 10:15 am after all.

while i still have some more presents to buy, i'm not feeling any kinds of pressure this year. this is not a bad thing. i mean, i do my best work when i'm FREAKING THE FUCK OUT, but i don't know, somehow it's all going to work out. unless i can't find that motherfucking SSX Tricky 3 playstation game, then all hell is gonna break loose and i will lose it in Best Buy. those assholes.

enough.

i've made the executive decision regarding the office holiday party. i will make a shrimp artichoke dip. it sounds delicious and it doesn't require hella heating time, which is boss to me. so i'm sure it'll all work out. how can it not? it's shrimp, cheese, artichokes, garlic and other shit. whatever. serve THIS with tortilla chips. but many a FU to all who didn't offer one suggestion. of course, p bu, you're off the hook. gimme that ham, son! lemme see that ham!

on monday i had my "reprogramming" with "emily" and The Gym. turns out, only going maybe once a week and eating like a fucking hog doesn't give any kind of great results. you MIGHT lose something on your waistline, but that's it, nothing more, something less. i figure if i'm paying these babes money a month, i could at least try. i'm not saying that i'm not going to be all gung ho about working out because, seriously, i'm one of the laziest people on the earth, but i will make a huge effort to go at least 3 times a week. and i won't do the pussy way out and just ride the bike and walk the treadmill for a total of 30 minutes when i go. all's i'm saying is that "emily" changed up my ab stuff and i'm dying a little bit on the inside. we'll see. end of discussion.

in a quest to never apprec' the music that is Out There Now, i have been pining for basehead's "play with toys" (1992), wham!'s "make it big" (1985) and terence trent d'arby's "introducing the hardline according to terence trent d'arby" (1987). give me a reason why they shouldn't be included in my cd collection and i'll give you a reason to go to the emergency room. what if i was totally hard? anyways. these are things that make me happy.

i mean, i could put together an amazon wishlist, but i'd just get depressed because............... sniffle.

in other less snotty nose news, 21 years old.

that's all folks.

You're more than welcome to the ham, but I don't think that you want it. It was delivered warm. Yes, warm. In previous years, they were delivered in big, styrofoam boxes full of dry ice. This year, not so much. Allegedly, the "space bag" that contains it keeps it fresh, but I seriously doubt that one should eat a ham that went unrefrigerated for a week--space bag be damned.
