okay. it's been awhile and in that while, i'm having a hard time trying to decide when to start. so i won't. i'll talk about this past weekend as that's what most of those pics in the earlier post came from, Hoosierweight Boxing & Showtime Boxing. for those that don't know, check out the website:

yes. this past friday, after a few weeks of devoting some time to the Panda Athletic Club (going in with the naive idea that i'd be molded into a Cut Girl), my "role" there was finally put to the "test" and i gloved up a majority of the boxers for their fights. that's about 13 or so kids to you and me. keeping in mind that the day before the fights was when i got learned on how to glove. with the help of 2 bettie page punk rock tattoo girls we managed to lay down the gloving law though. only ONE of the fights got stopped by the ref for the tap coming undone, thank you very much. it was pretty fucking cool, even when the old school coach with the brown bear body (not in a sweet way) totally grilled us and had the nerve to complain that he couldn't do the gloving (not my rules) & then on top of that, fucking GIRLS were doing the gloving. and adding, "no offense to you, of course." my reply, "i'm offended." in truth though, i wasn't, but thought it to be pretty fun to see him get all red in the face wishing that he could just kick our asses or something. but other than that little mishap, it was good times. most of the kids from Panda won their fights and put on a good show, good fight and i even got to drink beer whilst there. not as much as i wanted to since i was, after all, a working girl, but it was still a nice treat. and towards the end of the night, tubby the trainer came over and apologized to us and blamed it on his "nerves" and being "excited." he wanted a 4 way.

the following night was St. Louis' evening with Don King. the much anticipated cory spinks/zab judah fight. as it turns out, the StL had a lot to work out emotionally when spinks got knocked out in the 9th. as it turns out, judah's motherfuckin jab is outta this world (and it must have been pretty fuckin awesome from a seat that you could actually SEE the ring; we were pretty far up, my sis, the rootz and i) and from the beginning of round 1, a fucking douche could figure out who was dominating the fight. every time spinks "hit" him, the crowd lost their fucking minds but from where were sitting with our binoculars, it wasn't a hit, so much as a light tap, a brushing if you will. and you will. at least spinks' entrance was pretty entertaining. who doesn't love nelly? wait. whatever, fuck you, it was still pretty cool for the whole SHIT of it. and then after the fight was over & judah was waiting for the medal ceremony, the REAL fighting began. this time in the stands. some girl was kicking the living shit out of her boyfriend/brother/father/cousin/lover/what have you. the "guards" couldn't fuckin control the situation and after all was said and done, there was a whole section on the floor that was just wiped out. if i could have brought my camera in there, i'd have tried really hard to take a picture of that cause it was awesome.

but i am sad for cory spinks, but i also think that he will eventually figure it out. you gotta master the art of protecting yourself (AT ALL TIMES, GUYS) AND getting hit a few times in order to "get in there" and get to work on that body. i've said it a bunch but i'm not connecting with anyone's brains: THOSE BODY SHOTS WILL WEAR YOU DOWN."

i can't believe that i don't eat pussy.

now i'm determined to make it to mandalay bay for an HBO fight with my husband-to-be michael buffer announcing and chewing the fat with larry, jim, roy and manny. sigh.
